Today 6 July we were packed and off to the World Show in Paris, we went with our good friend Debbie and Shirley. We also took Fleur to show her at 2 shows, the French Championship & The World Show.
We went on the Euro Tunnel and was so easy we arrived at the terminal early and was then put onto an earlier train which was lovely. When we booked they knew we had a dog and no problems what so ever.
We boarded the train, and was on the lower deck so much nicer and easier to get off for sure, and within 35mins we were in Calais.
We had a lovely trip up to Paris it took us around 2.5hrs, there were no stops we drove straight through and the weather was a mix of sunshine and rain, just like England!!!
We arrived at our hotel which consisted of 4 hotels together, and they were all full of dog exhibitors. We meet a few from Russia who had been travelling for 4 days to get to Paris, some Swedish people, and French people.
The only disappointment we had on the first night was we couldn’t get into the restaurant to eat at our hotel and had to go to another one where the food wasn’t much good.
We had dinner with our good friends Avril & Stan, and also met Martine & Alex who also show Afghans, and was going to show us the way to the show the next day.
